A Great Smile

The first line I got from an old classmate in an email was " I still clearly remember your smile and the way you sprinted on the field after decades."

I must have left that cheerful personalities and a great smile imprinted in her mind after all these years.

It brought me to a smile I profoundly recall, my mother's.

She used to have a set of sparkling teeth showing off when she smiled, so infectious that it would brighten anyone's day.

The charming gorgeous smile however, was replaced with melancholy and gloomy look the day my father passed away.

It took her years again to be able to smile the way she used to be, but then some of the teeth were not there anymore.
